First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests three different injections—exosomes, platelet-rich plasma, and steroids—to see which best eases the long-term nerve pain that can follow shingles. About 45 adults with pain lasting at least 90 days will receive four treatments every two weeks. Researchers will measure pain levels, quality of life, and side effects over six months.
