Robotic suits tested in homes to help paralyzed people regain independence

NCT ID NCT06222398

Summary

This study aimed to watch people with paraplegia who already use robotic exoskeletons (wearable devices that help them stand and walk) in their own homes. Researchers wanted to see what daily tasks, like making a sandwich or brushing teeth, they could do while wearing the device. The goal was to identify simple changes to the home setup that could make these tasks easier and increase independence. It was a small, early-stage study to test the research methods.
