NCT ID NCT07423091

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether playing specially designed video games (exergames) can help people with chronic stroke improve arm and hand function better than standard home exercises. Thirty-two adults who had a stroke more than six months ago will be randomly assigned to either an exergame program or conventional therapy. The main goal is to see if the game-based approach is more effective, easy to use, and something people will stick with long-term.
