Zap vs sweat: study tests quick fix for Dentists' bone health
NCT ID NCT06813092
Summary
This study looked at whether a single session of intense exercise or a session of whole-body electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) is better for bone and metabolic health in young female dentists. Researchers measured blood markers related to bone building, bone breakdown, and blood sugar right before and 15 minutes after each session. The goal was to gather information to help design better, time-efficient exercise programs for this at-risk group.
