Virtual workouts tested to help Parkinson's patients walk and think better
NCT ID NCT05385497
Summary
This small, early-stage study tested whether combining aerobic exercise with virtual reality (VR) games could help improve walking, balance, and thinking skills in people with Parkinson's disease. Ten participants did aerobic workouts followed by VR sessions. Researchers measured changes in walking speed, balance, memory, and brain activity to see if this combined approach was helpful and practical.
