Can simple leg exercises help veterans breathe easier?

NCT ID NCT05115890

Summary

This study aims to understand why people with a common type of heart failure get tired so easily during exercise. Researchers will compare veterans with this condition to healthy people and then have the veterans do 8 weeks of leg-strengthening exercises. The goal is to see if this training improves blood flow to muscles and helps people walk farther.
