Can home workouts protect hearts of prostate cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT06237179

Summary

This study is testing whether a home-based exercise program can improve fitness and reduce heart disease risk in men with prostate cancer who are undergoing hormone therapy (ADT). Sixty participants will be assigned to either the exercise training group or a healthy living education group for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in exercise capacity, heart function, body composition, and quality of life to see if exercise helps counteract the side effects of the cancer treatment.
