First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study looked at why exercise training improves blood vessel function less in some people with COPD compared to healthy individuals. Researchers measured blood vessel health and related biological markers in 69 participants (COPD patients and healthy volunteers) before and after a 4-week exercise program. The goal was to identify factors that might explain these differences, but the study was terminated early.
