First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a one-year supervised physical activity program can reduce long-term fatigue in men treated for metastatic testicular cancer. 236 participants will be randomly assigned to either the exercise program or standard recommendations. The main goal is to measure fatigue levels three years after starting chemotherapy.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
supervised physical activity program
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a proven way to reduce chronic fatigue and improve quality of life for testicular cancer survivors.
What could go wrong
This is a behavioral intervention, not a drug, so effects may be modest. The trial is still recruiting and results won't be available for several years.
