First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether doing resistance exercises at different speeds can improve kidney function and metabolic health in people who have received a kidney transplant. About 12 adults, aged 18 to 50, who had a transplant at least a year ago will take part. They will be split into two groups: one doing exercises at a fast, explosive speed and the other at a slow, controlled speed, both for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the training helps their kidneys work better and lowers risks for heart disease and diabetes.
