Can home workouts keep seniors out of the hospital after pneumonia?

NCT ID NCT06689280

Summary

This study is testing whether a personalized exercise program can help older adults recover strength and independence after being hospitalized for pneumonia or a urinary tract infection. The program starts in the hospital and continues at home for three months with video supervision. Researchers will compare this approach to usual care to see if it is safe, helps people get stronger, improves their quality of life, and reduces the chance they need to go back to the hospital.
