Summary

This study tested whether an 8-week exercise program could improve health markers in overweight young women. Twenty-two participants either followed a circuit workout plan or continued their usual activities. The results suggest the exercise program increased a beneficial hormone and lowered a marker of inflammation, which may help reduce future heart disease risk.
