Exercise during dialysis may ease suffering for kidney patients
NCT ID NCT02259413
Summary
This study tested whether a 26-week exercise and education program could help people on long-term dialysis feel better. Researchers compared 133 patients who either did the exercise program during their dialysis sessions or received standard care. The goal was to see if regular exercise could reduce the many difficult symptoms dialysis patients experience and improve their overall quality of life.
