New program fights frailty in seniors with weak bones and muscles
NCT ID NCT06287502
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week program of specific exercises and a nutritional supplement could help older adults who have both osteoporosis (weak bones) and sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). Thirteen participants were split into two groups: one started the program right away, while the other received usual care first. The goal was to see if the program could improve grip strength, walking speed, and overall physical function.
