First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how different exercise intensities affect irisin, a hormone released during physical activity. Twelve healthy adults aged 18-25 completed low, moderate, and high-intensity exercise sessions. Researchers measured irisin and lactate levels before and after each session to find when irisin peaks. The study was completed and did not test any treatment or cure.
