Bed rest no longer means no exercise: new study tests strength training for High-Risk pregnancies

Summary

This pilot study tests a simple exercise program designed for high-risk pregnant women who are on bed rest in the hospital. The program includes resistance and strength exercises done in bed, aiming to improve physical health, mood, sleep, and quality of life. About 20 participants will either follow the exercise program or receive standard care. The study will also check if the program is easy to follow and satisfying for participants.
