First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at whether one session of intense aerobic exercise can lower pain sensitivity in teens with chronic pain. Researchers will compare pain responses in 66 youth with and without chronic pain before and after treadmill exercise. If effective, exercise could become a simple, drug-free way to help teens move better and feel better.
