Could intense workouts ease rheumatoid arthritis symptoms?

NCT ID NCT05768165

Summary

This study is testing whether a 12-week program of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) can help people with rheumatoid arthritis. Researchers want to see if this type of exercise improves heart and blood vessel function, reduces body-wide inflammation, and helps with symptoms like pain and fatigue. The study involves 87 adults with stable, low-to-moderate rheumatoid arthritis who do not currently do regular intense exercise.
