Can a 20-Minute workout calm PTSD?

NCT ID NCT05643716

Summary

This study tested whether a single session of aerobic exercise could help people with PTSD symptoms better control their emotions and focus. Researchers compared 65 women with significant PTSD symptoms who either did 20 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous exercise or sat quietly. They measured changes in brain activity and self-reported feelings during emotion and attention tasks before and after the session.
