Veterans walk toward healing: exercise study targets decades of PTSD
NCT ID NCT04199182
Summary
This study tested whether a 6-month supervised exercise program could help older veterans manage their PTSD symptoms and improve their physical health. Researchers worked with 80 veterans who had lived with PTSD for many years, measuring changes in their symptoms, walking endurance, sleep, and mood. The goal was to see if regular physical activity could offer a non-medication approach to improving well-being for this population.
