Summary
This study compared two exercise programs to see which better improves health markers in sedentary, obese postmenopausal women. Forty-five women were randomly assigned to either high-intensity interval training (HIIT), combined strength and endurance training, or a control group for 12 weeks. Researchers measured body composition, heart health markers, and oxidative stress before and after to see which exercise type provided greater benefits.
