Can extra exercise rebuild strength in Parkinson's patients?
NCT ID NCT07165106
Summary
This study aims to see if adding specific exercises to standard physical therapy helps people with Parkinson's disease who also have significant muscle loss (sarcopenia). Researchers will compare standard rehab alone to rehab plus either resistance band training or treadmill walking. They will measure changes in walking speed, balance, leg strength, and how patients perform daily tasks over 12 weeks.
