Scientists test if sweat can slow Parkinson's
NCT ID NCT05815524
Summary
This study tested whether a program of intensive physical activity could help control Parkinson's disease progression. Researchers compared 30 patients with Parkinson's who followed an exercise program to those who remained mostly inactive. They measured changes in movement symptoms and blood markers related to brain inflammation and damage to see if exercise had a protective effect.
