Can sweat save your memory? virtual workouts tested against Parkinson's decline
NCT ID NCT05720468
Summary
This study is testing whether a 6-month, home-based exercise program can help slow down thinking and memory problems in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will enroll 32 participants to compare a supervised workout plan with a no-exercise group. They will measure changes in memory tests and look for biological signs in blood and spinal fluid that might show how exercise helps the brain.
