Home workouts tested to protect the brain in Parkinson's

NCT ID NCT07299279

Summary

This study is testing whether a 12-month, home-based aerobic exercise program can improve thinking skills and slow cognitive decline in people with Parkinson's disease who have mild memory problems. Researchers will enroll 150 participants to compare those who follow the exercise program with a group that remains sedentary. They will measure changes in memory, movement, and specific blood markers to see if exercise can help protect the brain.
