Can a bike ride calm OCD? yale tests exercise as therapy
NCT ID NCT07103902
Summary
This study is testing if a single session of moderate cycling can help reduce the immediate distress and urges caused by obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and improve mental flexibility. Researchers at Yale will compare 20 minutes of moderate cycling to light cycling in 50 adults with OCD. Participants will complete mental tasks and symptom measures before and after their assigned exercise session to see which intensity provides more benefit.
