First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study explores whether 12 weeks of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) can reduce pain and improve quality of life in women with lipedema, a chronic fat disorder causing painful swelling in the legs. Researchers will compare HIIT to usual care in 62 women. The goal is to see if exercise can become a new, drug-free way to manage symptoms.
