Can exercise fight cancer treatment weakness in kids?

NCT ID NCT07325305

Summary

This is a small, early-stage study to see if a special exercise program can help children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) who are showing early signs of muscle weakness and frailty from their treatment. Researchers will enroll 60 children aged 5-17 and randomly assign those who become weak to either receive the exercise program or standard care. The main goal is to see if the program helps kids maintain their strength and muscle mass, and to test if this approach is practical for a larger future study.
