Can a phone app match a trainer for arthritis exercise?

NCT ID NCT06193681

Summary

This study tested whether a personalized exercise program delivered through a mobile app is as effective as a supervised, in-person program for teens with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Fifty-four adolescents were split into two groups to follow a 12-week exercise plan, with one group using the app and the other working with a physiotherapist. The goal was to see which method better improves physical fitness, activity levels, walking, and balance in young people with this chronic condition.
