Can arm and leg workouts shield the heart during cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT04914663
Summary
This study is testing if a special arm and leg exercise program can help protect the heart and blood vessels in women undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. Researchers will compare this new exercise approach to traditional treadmill walking to see which is more feasible and safe during treatment. The goal is to find ways to prevent heart problems that can sometimes develop as a side effect of chemotherapy.
