Can intense workouts save hearts after cancer chemo?

NCT ID NCT05913713

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific type of exercise can help protect the heart health of breast cancer survivors who have finished chemotherapy. Researchers are comparing high-intensity interval training (short bursts of very hard effort) to traditional moderate exercise to see which is better at improving blood vessel and heart function. The goal is to find the best exercise plan to reduce the higher risk of heart disease that can follow cancer treatment.
