Home treadmill trial aims to stop dangerous polyps
NCT ID NCT06641310
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether personalized exercise programs using home treadmills can help prevent colorectal polyps from returning in people with Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP). Researchers will place treadmills in participants' homes and monitor their exercise remotely for 26 weeks, while collecting small tissue samples before and after. The goal is to find the right exercise amount to inform larger future studies on preventing polyp recurrence.
