Can High-Intensity workouts fight uterine cancer before surgery?

NCT ID NCT04025229

Summary

This study tested whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) before standard surgery could slow the growth of endometrial cancer. Thirty women with early-stage endometrial cancer completed personalized HIIT workouts before their hysterectomy. Researchers measured changes in cancer cell activity in tissue samples taken before and after the exercise program to see if workouts had anti-cancer effects.
