Dialysis workout breakthrough: can exercise during treatment fight muscle loss and improve sleep?

NCT ID NCT07447375

Summary

This study is testing if a 12-week exercise program done during dialysis sessions can help patients with chronic kidney disease. Researchers want to see if supervised strength and aerobic workouts improve muscle mass, strength, sleep quality, and overall quality of life. About 58 patients over 40 will be randomly assigned to either do the exercises or receive their usual care.
