This completed study from the University of Nottingham interviewed 12 people with persistent major depression who were offered a group exercise program. Researchers wanted to learn what stops patients from joining or sticking with exercise, and what helps them take part. The goal is to help doctors design exercise programs that are more acceptable and effective for people with severe depression.
