Exercise may ease chronic pain in lung cancer survivors

Summary
This study looks at whether a progressive exercise program can reduce ongoing pain in veteran lung cancer survivors. Nine participants aged 60-80 who had surgery or chemotherapy at least 6 months ago will take part. The goal is to see if exercise can improve pain, fitness, and strength, and possibly reduce the need for pain medications.
