Home workouts tested to fight painful swelling in cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT07448467

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple arm-strengthening exercise program done at home can help manage lymphedema, a common and often painful swelling that can occur after breast cancer treatment. Researchers will compare two groups of 50 female participants: one doing the exercises while wearing compression bandages, and one receiving standard lymphedema care. The goal is to see if the exercises improve arm function, reduce swelling, and enhance quality of life over 12 weeks.
