Spin bikes may slow vision loss in veterans

Summary
This study is testing whether a 6-month online stationary bike program can help preserve vision and improve overall health in Veterans with age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Researchers will compare 70 Veterans doing spin cycling against a control group to see if exercise affects vision, physical mobility, and thinking skills. The goal is to find a simple, accessible way to slow the progression of this common cause of vision loss.
