NCT ID NCT07457047
First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested whether 8 weeks of supervised aerobic or resistance exercise could improve heart-related blood markers in 45 healthy but sedentary women aged 18 to 25. Participants were split into three groups: aerobic exercise, resistance exercise, or no exercise. Researchers measured changes in heart stress and inflammation markers, along with cholesterol, blood sugar, and fitness levels. The goal was to understand how different exercise types might benefit heart health in young women who don't normally exercise.
