New program aims to get Parkinson's patients moving
NCT ID NCT04340492
Summary
This study tested whether a special education program could help people in the early stages of Parkinson's disease become more physically active in their daily lives. Researchers compared 89 patients who received the program to those on a waiting list, measuring their activity levels with a wearable device. The goal was to see if learning new habits could increase moderate exercise and potentially improve fatigue, quality of life, and other symptoms.
