First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a 16-week program of cycling during dialysis sessions could improve heart function in 30 adults with kidney failure. Participants first received standard care, then added supervised aerobic exercise. The goal was to see if exercise could ease the strain on the heart's left ventricle, a common problem in dialysis patients.
