Scientists test if exercise boosts Chemo's Cancer-Killing power
NCT ID NCT05184582
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a supervised exercise program to standard chemotherapy before breast cancer surgery can help eliminate tumors more completely. It will involve 712 patients who will either follow a high-intensity exercise plan during their chemo or receive usual care. Researchers want to see if being physically active makes the chemotherapy work better against the cancer.
