Can virtual workouts change your gut and lower cancer risk?
NCT ID NCT06445192
Summary
This study is testing whether a program of virtual exercise classes and group counseling is practical and can improve health in people at high risk for lung cancer. Researchers want to see if this program changes the mix of bacteria in the gut and reduces body-wide inflammation, which are both linked to cancer risk. The study involves 65 current or former heavy smokers who do not exercise much.
