First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This pilot study tests whether combining upper arm exercises with pneumatic compression therapy can reduce swelling and improve arm function in 20 women with breast cancer-related lymphedema. Participants will undergo 12 sessions, with measurements of arm circumference, shoulder motion, and quality of life taken before and after treatment. The goal is to develop a better rehabilitation model for this common post-treatment complication.
