Can a coach help heart patients stick with exercise?
NCT ID NCT05784753
Summary
This study is testing whether meeting with an exercise coach—either in person or by video call—helps adults with a specific type of heart failure (HFpEF) exercise more consistently. Over 18 months, 300 participants will be assigned to one of three groups: one with in-person coaching, one with video coaching, and one with standard exercise videos only. The main goal is to see which approach best helps people stick to their exercise routine and whether that leads to feeling better, walking farther, and having healthier blood markers.
