Can a 10-Week brain and body workout stop dangerous falls for veterans with MS?
NCT ID NCT07447115
Summary
This study aims to see if adding computer-based brain training to a standard walking and strength exercise program can better improve walking, thinking skills, and reduce falls in older veterans with multiple sclerosis (MS). Thirty veterans aged 55+ with MS will be randomly assigned to either do exercises with brain games or exercises with regular computer games for 10 weeks. Researchers will then track how many falls participants have over the next year using smartwatches and diaries to see which approach works better.
