Can a workout prime your brain for better depression treatment?
NCT ID NCT06773949
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether adding a structured exercise program before and during a brain stimulation treatment makes it work better for people with difficult-to-treat depression. Researchers will compare the effects of exercise plus brain stimulation against brain stimulation alone in 20 physically inactive adults. The main goal is to see if this combined approach is practical and acceptable, to prepare for a larger future study.
