Could a quick workout make therapy more effective for depression?
NCT ID NCT07221929
Summary
This study is testing if doing moderate exercise right before a therapy session makes the therapy work better for people with depression. Researchers will compare two groups of 100 adults: one group will exercise before their weekly therapy, while the other will rest quietly. The main goal is to see if this 'exercise priming' helps people connect better with their therapist and become more active in their daily lives, which could lead to greater improvement in depression symptoms.
