Can a phone app prescribe exercise to ease asthma?

NCT ID NCT06651385

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether a 12-week, doctor-prescribed exercise program delivered through a smartphone app is practical and acceptable for adults who have both obesity and poorly controlled asthma. Twenty participants used the app to follow a personalized exercise plan from home. The main goal was to see if people could stick with the program, with researchers also checking if it helped improve asthma symptoms.
