First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) or moderate-intensity continuous exercise (MICT) works better for women with lipedema, a painful fat disorder in the legs. About 69 women will receive compression therapy plus one of three exercise plans for 10 weeks. Researchers will measure leg size, pain, mobility, and quality of life to find the best exercise approach.
